Pai Gow Poker - No commission - Las Vegas Forum - TripAdvisor

I played this at Caesars Windsor and was wondering which casinos have this in Vegas now have no comission Pai Gow for my next trip. The catch is if the dealer has a queen high poi gow it is a push. On a side note, one player was getting really angry that I did my split wrong once and ended up winning. Then she got mad at a senior betting the minimum as she kept winning. Guess who was the first person to lose her money? LOL She left very mad once all her $$$ were gone and the dealer told me she used to work there! I haven't seen this in Las Vegas. But I am pretty particular where we play, so it may be in some of the other casinos. I have a couple of questions. Is it JUST Queen high or...

Pai Gow Poker Resources

Pai Gow poker (also called Double-hand poker) is an Americanized version of Pai Gow (in that it is played with playing cards bearing poker hand values, instead of Pai Gow’s Chinese dominoes). The game is played with a standard 52-card deck, plus a single joker. It is played on a table set for six players, plus the dealer. Each player attempts to defeat the banker (who may be the casino dealer, or one of the other players at the table). The object of Pai Gow poker is for a player to create two poker hands out of the seven-card hand he/she is dealt by the dealer: a five-card hand, and a two-card poker hand. According to the rules, the five-card hand’s rank must exceed the two-card...

Pai Gow Poker Questions ....... - Las Vegas Forum - TripAdvisor

I'm always looking for new fun games. Many of you have suggested Pai Gow, so I've been playing at wizardofodds and I have a few questions. 1) Are there really wild cards in the live table game? 2) Wild cards in the on-line game seem to just be played as an Ace. If there are Wild Cards, how are they played? Most proponents of the game, profess long gaming sessions with subtle fluctuations is bankroll. I have certainly found this to be true when playing on line. And, if I'm getting good cocktail service...... I should be good. But....... I do find all of the "ties" (pushes) sort of boring. So, 3) Are there any other payouts I'm not seeing on line. Does anything pay "odds". I...

Pai Gow Poker players enjoy easy pace, fairly low house edge, TribLIVE

Pai Gow Poker players enjoy easy pace, fairly low house edge Ken Glozer likes to play blackjack and craps, but lately, he's been biding his time at the Pai Gow Poker table. Glozer, 70, a policy analyst from Ashburn, Va., who frequently visits relatives in Uniontown, enjoys the game's slow pace. "It's a good place to go when you're waiting for someone who wants to play slots" for a couple of hours, he says. "You'll occasionally win a bet, but you usually don't lose a lot." The game boasts a relatively low house edge. Gambling site puts it at 2.73 percent when played against the dealer. In other words, for every $100 bet, a player can expect to lose $2.73 over the long run. If you can find a...

Pai Gow poker - bonus option? - Las Vegas Forum - TripAdvisor

A question for the pai gow poker players out there... As everyone knows, PG poker can be played (usually) at a leisurely pace, as there are (usually) a lot of pushes. I prefer to play with the Bonus option, to kind of "keep things interesting". Know there are several variations of "bonus" - all I've played are fun. (Yes, I know the odds are NOT good on bonus bets, but I chalk it up to the price of entertainment). Which casinos offer this option at the lower limits, say $5 - $10? Thanks in advance! - NTNFan On the 'Fortune Pai Gow' you can play $1 on the bonus. If you play $5, you are entitled to the 'envy bonus' which means that if another player at the table gets a good...

Pai Gow Poker Guide - Overview, Rules and Strategy for Players New to Pai Gow Poker Games

Pai Gow Poker Guide Pai Gow Poker is an interesting casino variation that offers something a little different from other casino card games such as Blackjack, Baccarat and Casino Hold’em. Pai Gow Poker is loosely based on the Chinese game of Pai Gow, a gambling game played with 32 dominos. In this guide I explain exactly how you’ll play Pai Gow Poker. I start with the basic rules of the game, detailing the hand rankings and the use of the Joker in the game. I then look at the strategy of the game and how you can let the casino software do the work for you. I finish by detailing the house fees you’ll be charged before finishing with an overview of the game. The Basic Rules of Pai Gow Poker...

How to Play Pai Gow Poker in Las Vegas

Playing Pai Gow Poker in Las Vegas Pai Gow Poker (pronounced pi gow) combines the elements of the ancient Chinese game of Pai Gow and the American game of poker. A relatively slow-paced game, Pai Gow Poker is played with a traditional deck of 52 playing cards, plus one joker. The joker can be used only as an ace, or to complete a straight, or a flush. Each player at the table is dealt seven (7) cards which they will use to construct two (2) separate hands of two (2) cards and five (5) cards. The five-card hand must be higher than the two-card hand (for example, if the two-card hand is a pair of sevens, the five-card hand must contain at least a pair of eights or higher). The object of the...
