Blackjack is a very simple game, almost identical to the well known, ‘Pontoon’ or 21. The object of the game is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over or ‘busting’. The players play against the bank and not each other.
The player places his bet in the square or “box” in front of him.
Each player is then dealt a card.
The dealer deals one to himself.
Each player is dealt a second card.
The player, now with two cards, has the choice whether to “hit” (take another card) or “stand” (does not take another card).
When all the players have taken the cards they want (as many as they like) the dealer takes his cards. Unlike the player, the dealer has no choice over whether to take a card or not.
If the dealers total is 16 or below he must take another card. When the dealer has reached 17, 18, 19, 20,or 21 he stops and compares his cards with those of the players. If the dealer and player have the same total it is declared a “push” and neither the player or the dealer wins or loses. If the player has a higher total he is paid even money, if lower the dealer takes his bet.
If, with two cards, either the player or dealer gets an ace with a picture card or ten it is declared as a blackjack and is unbeatable.

However, unlike Pontoon there are a few differences in rules:
You may only “buy” on 9,10,11 total with two cards.
You don’t take over the bank when you get a blackjack!
But remember it is a FUN casino – rules may at times be flexible!
Most people are familiar with the game of roulette. Basically, the player places his chips on different parts of the layout and wins different odds depending on where he has placed them.
The most simple bets are RED or BLACK, ODD or EVEN, Nos 1 – 18 or 19 – 36. Because the odds are roughly 50/50 (if Zero comes up you lose!) you are paid even money.
Most people are happy playing on these all night. However there are other options. For example, you can bet on the “Dozens”. This is a bet that covers the numbers 1 – 12, 13 – 24, 25 – 36. They pay 2-1 odds.
Or if you are feeling really lucky, you can bet on your individual favourite numbers. If one of them were to come up and you had a single chip on it, you would win 35.
Other combinations you can try are:
a “split” which covers two numbers and pays 17 to 1
a “corner” which covers four and pays 8 to 1
a “street” which covers three numbers and pays 11 to 1
a “six line” which covers six numbers and pays 5 to 1.
Or alternatively you can place your chips all over the place and hope for the best!
White Rose Poker is an exciting game anyone can play. It is a five card Stud Poker game played against the “house” and not the other players.
To enter the game place your initial stake or “Ante” in the inner box in front of you.
You are dealt 5 cards face down and the dealer recieves 4 cards face down and the last card face up.
After looking at your cards you have the option to “play” or “fold”. The order of hands is as follows:

Usually you would “play” if you have a pair or better. To play place a second bet of up to twice your “Ante”. If you “fold” you lose your initial stake.
The dealer then reveals his remaining 4 cards.
If the dealer has an ACE and KING or higher he plays his hand and compares it to each individual player’s hand.
If the player beats the dealer he is paid out at the above odds and receives even money on his “Ante” bet.
It may sound complicated, but it’s a great game and you will be up and playing after only a few hands!
