LAS VEGAS (AP) — Boulder Station employees will soon decide if they will join the local culinary union.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports ( http://bit.ly/2bI8tS8 ) that the National Labor Relations Board will oversee the secret-ballot election Friday and Saturday.
Station Casinos and Culinary Local 226 have battled for more than a decade over whether the union and its affiliate, Bartenders Local 165, should be allowed to negotiate labor contracts for cooks, service workers, bartenders and housekeeping employees at the locals casino company.
